Juliette absolutely massacred "Crazy" singing a grossly overproduced version with non other than the bizzare Steven Tyler. They didn't even do the half step modulation at the end. Painful!!

I thought we were through with the 100+ degree days for this year. 110 when I came back from bridge. BTW took second and that was a big win, four dollars. A few more of those and I'll have enough money to run for president.

Heyyyyy..... Coming to you this evening from home!  First day back and I'm exhausted from just beginning to get organized with meds and new routines. Appear to walk a bit stronger daily, but still some respiratory stress w/occasional oxygen desats, but I have oxygen here so it's doable. The remnants of that darned cough compounded with some irritation of my airways from being on the respirator for 5 hours is the only discomfort, so still no pain meds. Coughing puts a bit of pressure on the chest, needless to say. But the upward phase of this has begun. Wonderful drive home yesterday. Bill.....I'm sure you did fine. Marty.....congrats on the anniversary. It has occurred to me more than once that I'll now get to see our 40th next August. And enjoy grandkids. Still have not held granddaughter Naiu yet, but she'll have to wait some. So good to be home.....see ya tomorrow! |

Don, the pain meds are also cough suppressant. Might be good to try that out a little bit.

I had taken a few Percocets the first week mainly for back pain in that goofy bed, but nothing since the transplant. Not sure what I have here other than boatloads of immune suppressants. I was hoping the anti-inflammatory aspect of the Prednisone was covering this. Other NSAIDS are not kosher. Any other suggestions, I'm all ears. |
