Hell, I don't know. All four teams are pretty darn good and anyone of them could be a winner.
Actually, to have gotten this far, all of them are.

New England beats Denver though I would prefer Denver, Carolina beats Arizona.

I agree with Ken. And for the SB, gotta go with New England.

Here's my picks ( so be sure to pick the opposite, since I'm good at picking losers )
New England over Denver
Carolina over Arizona

Carolina to take the SB. NE is not whole. Carolina and Cam are formidable.

I hate everything about the Patriots so its gotta be Denver. On the NFC side it seems to be too close to call. I like Carolina's story but the Cards sure look good.
Denver v Carolina

Carson Palmer did his best to throw away the last game. I'd put money on Carolina even if the line was 7+.
The other game is a tough call as both teams have flaws that make a victory over Carolina unlikely. I'll go with Denver because Evil Empire.

I picked Denver because of 5000 ft.

My money is on the Lions not winning.

I thought that Carolina peaked early right up until the playoff started. I think they'll take care of AZ rather handily. Maybe by 10.
I really want to see Manning go out a winner, but I'm afraid it's going to be another blowout instead. I pick the Patriots by 17.

Broncos / Patriots injury reports ... 0 Broncos listed as questionable, 16 Patriots listed as questionable including Edeleman, Amendola and Gronkowski. Belichek tweaking the NFL just for the hell of it.

I picked Denver because of 5000 ft. Sorry, but 22 X 2 does NOT equal 5000. Sure, if the Broncos were allowed 2500 players on the field at the same time, I bet they'd win too. But that's just stupid, Doug.

Although I hate to pick against NE, Denver will eke out a win at home by 3. Carolina will win big against Arizona and defeat Denver in the Super Bowl by at least 14. There you have it.

Anybody but the Patriots, please. I'm not a big Denver fan ("Leavin' on a Jet Plane" and "Take Me Home, Country Roads" made me cringe the first time I heard them, still do...), but I sincerely hope that he beats that other guy.
And if Carolina is good enough for James Taylor, it's good enough for me.

The New England/Denver games poses a challenge for me. While I like both teams, and while I would love to see Payton do well and hope he does do well, I have become an full-fledged Patriot fan and will be rooting for them with all I have to root with ...
but, I have to root quietly, discreetly, and with my mouth in full mute mode as Charlene is a HUGE Peyton fan (she even sings along with him during his Nationwide commercials, well, I guess I do too). So, if I know what's good for me, and I do know what's good for me so there is no "if" involved, every four or five minutes, I say, "Go, Broncos". And when the Pats score, I excuse myself to the bathroom, turn on the fan and faucet, and let out a subdued and wary "Whoop!"
Happy marriages require sensitivity, commitment, work, and a dash of prudent self-denial and submissiveness.
Kickoff approaches, Go Broncos!
Go Pats

I muted the TV three notes into the Nat'l Anthem -- that was wise, right?
