Looks like it's as official as it can be. I'll be driving up on the 8th- should get in around 8 or 9 pm. Staying with factorychef and leaving before the butt crack of dawn on Sunday to get back to work on Monday. I'll be bringing the Gibson menage a trios and the Mesa amp rig. Get to teach Marshall what a real electric guitar is. |

Christal just started a new job and it is the last month of the federal fiscal year so budget folks are taped to thier chairs for the duration. Besides, Chatham Street's pretty much dead. But I'm looking forward to being there and I guess it's you, me and Doug at Bob's. There's a recent movie called "This Could Get Loud" starring Jimmy Page, the Edge, and Jack White. The 3 of us will be more like, "This Could Get Weird". |

…Besides, Chatham Street's pretty much dead. Very sorry to hear that. Still, if you have any unsold Chatham Street CDs, bring some along. Those with CDs to sell sometimes lay out a display Saturday night and sometimes a few get sold. Also, other IJammers might like to buy one if they haven't already. I keep meaning to get your postal address to send you that pedal we talked about. Now I'll just bring it to IJam. |

Damn, this sounding like it will really be a party! I'm in. I'll hook up the trailer so I can bring my new accordion amp.
(Bob, you don't happen to have a little Bobcat or payloader, that amp is a bit heavy. If not, no problem, I can just back the trailer up to the house, walls really don't slow this guy down much.)

I'll be bringing three DI boxes: a Pure for K&Ks, a Radial J45, and an L.R. Baggs Venue DI I recently acquired. We'll leave those plugged in to the system Saturday night so there should always be enough "hot" cables to accommodate multiple players.

We'll see you there, Peter. That's a lot of driving in a very short time, but you've got good accommodations, I can attest to that. Chili, hush puppies up here are only in places like Long John Silvers. You won't be seeing any at the fish fry. They should have sliced white bread, though! This is a sacrilege! I should have expected as much in the land of corn and pork. |
