Big John Deere just drove by pulling a plow. Guess the guy's trying to get his field plowed before the rain arrives this afternoon. He was out plowing in the dark last night too.

Morning
A high of 50F today, not uncommon for this time of year but I was hoping the warm days would last into late October. There has been years when we've had 3 ft. of snow in 24 hrs. in late October.
Shop time.

Pheasant hunt yesterday was a success: Nobody got hurt, I do not have to buy shells for my next hunt, my dog enjoyed being in the field and I do not have to clean birds. But pheasant will not be on the menu for a while yet. Today my wife returns from Aiken, SC. Her flights are on time so far. Glad she's leaving the storm behind her.
