still raining - hey up there this is the desert
Hurt my back in a dream Thur. Never had that happen before. Not like a nightmare but a dream where I was doing a lot of active stuff. Pulled a muscle last two or three ribs on the right side of my back. Somehow I must have twisted wrong in my sleep. Getting better but a lot of movement is painful.

30 min on the bike trainer today, plus two "sets" of stairs (up 63 steps, x2). Got a few quick inches this a.m., but then it backed off and even got sunny later.

Good morning though foggy here. The forecast for the rest of the month looks relatively decent, around 50 for highs and no snow or below freezing days. I'll take it.
I think I made some progress on the guitar front. The calluses are coming back and the classical stretches are getting better. It still sucks compared to performance level but definitely better which is encouraging. Even the little finger is starting to feel "Normal" for awhile. Played for almost an hour yesterday before the arm said "Uncle".

I am already approaching normal, which is really remarkable after having somebody mucking about in my head a couple of days ago. Just some mild fatigue and nasal drainage. For the curious, here is an informative video of almost exactly what I had done. Do not watch while eating breakfast.  After reviewing this again, if it is too self indulgent, I will gladly remove it. |

Raining in Central Wis too. Temperatures in the 40's. Hey, I speak Fahrenheit! I'm bilingual, eh? I was out chopping ice on the driveway yesterday. Too old for that. I have to finish it today.

Just had one of the better burgers OF MY LIFE, at a place I can get to only one day a week, but it's close and it opens at 11 on Saturdays, so I scooted over there today and ordered the half-pounder so I could bring half of it home, which I did. Not my photo below (I ordered it with no cheese or bacon -- and I popped for the seasoned potatoes sted chips, which were excellent). Lindey's Steak House, ask for it by name.  |

It's 1:30 PM and we're still waiting for a chance to do our walk. Wind, rain, wind, snow, wind. We skipped yesterday because of weather. So much wind during the night that it was hard to sleep. Had at least one gust of 45 mph. Picked up almost an inch and a half of precipitation since yesterday.
We did just get Turbotax installed for 2016. Now for the fun of inputting the information.
