Good morning. I guess this is the daily.
My neurologist was impressed. I heal up pretty well for an old guy and he went through the needle test to verify that I can feel my fingers now, then the strength tests which were better than when I first saw him. He said I should call if I need him but there was nothing else for him to do, I should just keep practicing and let him know when I booked a gig.
I miss the warmth of February but a few cold days should give me practice time.
Happy Saturday. Take the day off.

Good Morning Good People
Sunny and chilly but not cold. Spending most of the day at the office dealing with conflicting Number One priorities. Avoiding the heart of downtown where there will be a March 4 Trump rally and a March 4 America (mostly anti-Trump) rally a few hundred yards apart. Organizers of said marches have met and pledged to keep a peaceful distance.
Have a fine late winter (but not early spring) Saturday one and all.

Well, errands to run and then I plan to drive this one today -- same color as the Mazda that got away. This one is AWD, though, a big plus, and is RWD when the fronts aren't automatically engaged as needed. Supposedly a 3-Series Beemer slayer, we shall see.

Hey. I'm up, coffee is dripping. Today's activities include guitar fondling with David as he seeks for something special. Wood, air and strings. I like it.

…I miss the warmth of February … Now there's a line one doesn't often hear. Fiddlerina'a shoulder continues to improve. No pain playing most things. Excellent range of motion. Still tires more quickly. We're beginning to believe there may be a spring and summer ahead after all. Who knew? Time to start making plans.

In Chicago for our granddaughter Claire's confirmation.
Her school, Haven Middle School had it's annual spring follies "Haven Help Us" last night. The kids write their own songs with a school theme using the melodies of current hits. It was fun but the term "Melodies". Was a stretch. I don't think one could describe anything as "catchy" these days.
Funniest moment was one of the boys doing a great impression of one of the teachers. He had a costume that included a big pot belly hanging over his belt.

Just back from driving the 2009 Infiniti G37X, wow, impressive car in many, many ways. Not much negative to say about it, in fact, except I would be paying more for gas, as it uses a bit more and likes 91 octane (I use 89 in the Nissan). Plus a car payment, where I have none at present. I tell you, though, it feels and looks like it was just built. One-owner, local guy, bought it new from the same dealership that has it now, traded it in for another new Infiniti. He even had the clear 3M bra stuff applied to the hood at purchase, so there is nary a chip in the finish anywhere. Color is really neat, in some light angles it seems more metallic gray than blue, other angles just the opposite. The chassis and motor both came from the 370-Z, and that sports car heritage is clear once you get into it at all. I thought my car was pretty quick, but this thing is fast. Talking 0-60 in 5 seconds, quarter-mile in less than 14, top speed of nearly 150. Seven-speed auto trans with manual shift mode, kinda raspy exhaust note until you get to cruise speed, then it's totally quiet. Has some sticky Bridgestones on it, and my 17-inch snow tires would fit perfectly on those pretty alloy wheels. So they want $11K for an 8-year-old car that has 100,000 miles on it. But it sold new for around $40K, has never been in a wreck and will prolly go another 100K easily. These models were totally built in Japan, which is a plus, too. Pondering, pondering ...

There's much to be said for a clear 3M bra.
I'm just sayin'
(PS - My Honda Magna would do a quarter mile in 11.3 seconds. . . . , with a real rider on it.)
((PSPS - LOVE the raspy exhaust note !)

Better keep them Brooklyn brass monkeys indoors this day, I can tell you!
I have guests this weekend from Georgia who have never been this cold in their entire lives.
