The guitar is here to stay... a gift. I am amazed and overwhelmed. Mahogany chambered body, maple cap with cocobolo stripe and knob plate, cocobolo neck. Three Dawgtown Tele pickups, 5-way selector switch. Beautiful jazz sounds in the neck to Tele twang for years in the bridge, to all the "duck eating corn out of a hubcap" quack you could ask for in positions two and four. And it weighs less than my Strats. I'm going to build Tom a website to return the favor, meanwhile you can view his builds here: Husting Brothers GuitarsTom decided a couple of years ago that I needed one of his guitars, he's been working on this one for a while, lots of rebuilds and tweaks... it's been problematic, but then, so am I, so we're a good fit. Between this one and the Frankencaster that Marty is working on for me, the sunburst Strat might wind up staying home a lot. I'll try to get some sound clips one of these days.
