Graduation party this eve at a hotel downtown, got back an hour ago, showered and now having a beer. Rec'd a huge bouquet of flowers (nice), but I think the PA was set to 11 throughout... Good morning. Not gonna get up to freezing today and it's windy to boot. At least we dodged the blizzard. Have to take the wife up to Maryland for her shot in the eye. I hope they don't screw up like they did last month. Although Mary wasn't in the Navy she has been around me for over 47 years and knows all the words. She used a few last month when she told them she wasn't numb and they gave her the shot anyway. It's been tough getting her to agree to go back this month but it's necessary. If this doesn't work I don't think she'll continue treatment. This eye is only marginally working anyway and has been mostly blind for years but she would miss what little peripheral vision she has in it, I think. It will be her decision.
The wind will make the drive "Fun" anyway. Have a good day unless your name is Caesar in which case, hide out.

Well, Bob, if it's been 16 years maybe you're in the clear, but it is the Ides. So at least beware of the hides of March, even LJ avoids them.
Bruce, Hope Mary does well with her injection today. She needs to really speak up about how it went last time. My experience is, if the numbing agent doesn't work, it's out of date. Have her make them check the expiration date.

Supposed to see 84F today, 87 later this week. The no heat/no AC days may be ending soon.
Yesterday we looked at how many of our double pane windows had been compromised. Got someone coming Friday to give us an estimate on 7 panes that need to be replaced. When we started, we thought there were 3. It's only money.

Well, we have gotten about 2 feet of snow - so far. Another few inches will be coming down for the next 5 or 6 hours before the snow lets up. Time to shovel the walk. Have good ones.

There is a little rationale behind our choice of wedding date. We got married on a Thursday between our birthdays. Nancy's is March 14 and mine is March 16. March 15 is the one day that Nancy is only 10 years younger than me, because she has had her birthday but I've not yet had mine. Ten years was my limit.
