Yesterday.... I drove to Santa Rosa. I talked with a old friend in a hospital (I haven't seen this person for 52 years) - I helped this dying man for two hours..... whew! I feel like I have a priest or shrink... It was interesting. There was with a grand piano. So I get to play practice. Now today.... I'm going to check out the Mexico atlas. I think I'm gonna figure out the new tiny blurb near the ocean. Maybe I could be the mayor. "Mayor Roberto" heh heh

Good morning.
The weather's decent though not as warm as yesterday. Got my sticks picked up and some mowing done. Most of the place doesn't need mowing yet. Put some stress on the left arm so didn't play yesterday but I may try again today. Classical position hurts worst but folkie isn't so bad for awhile anyway. I hope the elbow pain goes away eventually.
Have a good day.

Good Morning Good People
Raining. Was a peaceful morning then a small dog and small child awoke. Off to church, then typical Sunday stuff.
Have a fine very early spring Sunday on and all.

(Your info about the carb kit on eBay camp me to late for me to use, but I do appreciate it, Bruce.) My lawn mower, a 9-10 yr old Deere, was deemed by their mechanic to have too much wear on the cylinder liner to be worth repairing. The shop manager is going to recheck that on Monday, be fore pronouncing it dead. So I'm bummed, because new lawn mowers cost what a decent Mexican Telly does. And I'd rather spend the money on a guitar. But I got a pretty big lawn. I know, 1st world problems. And I have a head cold. Mike

Went to the roller derby last night. It was great. Kind of a voyeuristic look into a new subculture.
The rules and scoring are complicated.

Morning
44F/7C Rain likely.
Trip to Harbor Freight today to buy a reciprocating saw. I have to cut up the old metal shed out back and remove it. Last fall a storm brought down a huge limb on top of it. Well we got the limb cut up but now the city wants the crushed shed gone.
167 days to IJ

clouds aren't quite low enough to be considered fog, not raining right now, mom is off to church and then community theatre this afternoon. I'll try to find something to do after caring for the animals, then bridge with Doug this evening.

Worked well. Cutoff saw.

Gray and overcast, damp, breezy, cold. The kind of cold that cuts right through you. Yesterday was much better.....finished cleaning out the carport so I have room to assemble and install the new grass catcher. Then I drove to the high school track and walked a lap. Will slowly work up to 4 laps = a mile. I'm determined to lose that last damn pooch of fluid around my ankles and finally get off diuretics. Been taking them for 9 years now.
Nobody else was stirring this morning, so I showered up and went on to church by myself. Came home to Mexican carry-out from the restaurant at the end of my street. Yum. Then a two hour nap. Now for some PT exercises.
