Good morning everybody!
Edit: check the thread. Today is 2017, not 2012! 😜

Morning
55F/13C Chance of sprinkles, WTF does this mean our Weather Monkey randomly pees on people.
Busy day, shop work, visit from the Letson's early afternoon, grocery shopping. But first I drop off Me Darling Wife at work.

Morning. Lunch with the geezers. Then a Costco run. Oh look, the nice weather we had for about a day and a half is gone. That's ok I guess, as I can feel every muscle after a day of roto tilling, lawn mowing, weed whacking...the raised beds are loooking good though.

2012, it is? I could use 5 years taken off my total accumulation.

Taking the geezer for his eye injection today. A local trip this time.
Yesterday a load of gravel was dumped on the lot behind us. The day before a porta-potty showed up. A few days before that footings were dug. The only way in and out is past our house. I'm expecting lots of noise and traffic to commence any day now. Looks like the house will be much bigger than our 1,950 sq. ft.

Haircut and hat buying today. The chemo is finally beginning to do its number on my hair. Since I am powerless over this development, I have no no choice but to embrace it. Any emotional advice from the formerly shaggy in the gang?

Any emotional advice from the formerly shaggy in the gang? Precisely why I cut off an 18" ponytail back before I closed up my grocerystore to donate to Locks of Love. Around 2002-3. I knew there had to be some older folks going through the hair loss stage of chemo that would appreciate having access to naturally gray hair. Locks of Love didn't accept gray hair. Rain is gone here, but still way to cold to work outside. Will have to see how warm it gets. Saturday is forecast for 80º, not sure what we'll get between now and then.

Any emotional advice from the formerly shaggy in the gang? Good hats ain't cheap. I gave up on my hair a few years ago as the braid wasn't getting longer and it was getting thinner. So now I shave it every other day. Shaved head is cool now.

Howdy all. Rainy as all get out here, and some places are starting to flood. Water damage is awful, and thankfully we are on a piece of high ground.

Which, I don't need any more help in that arena. I still have some groovy ball caps. But mostly I wear Castro/military hats. I have to be careful with those. Some are too tall or sit on me funny. And black doesn't work for me, being fair. Light colors aren't good either. So OD green or similar brown are the ones of choice. Some music guys wear berets and newsboys backwards. They look fine on other people. Me, not so much so. Still I don't like those in black. Too much contrast with us pale white guys.
