Good morning.
It's our 47th anniversary so we'll be headed to the Japanese Steakhouse in Salisbury Md. for Mary's at least yearly hit of teppanyaki lobster. Yesterday she couldn't breath due to allergies but I'll bet today she'll be fine.

Good Morning Good People
Rained all night. Predicted to rain all day. Spent yesterday morning on campus for class reunion events. Unlike previous reunions, there was very little talk about how great their careers were or how smart their kids were. Much of the conversation was "how many grandkids do you have?" and "when are you gonna retire?" Had a long conversation with a guy whom I hadn't known during our time on campus, but we concluded we were the last two guys on campus in the mid-70s to have shoulder-length hair.
Hanging around home this morning, than hanging out at a beach house with our Mennonite artist friends who now live in Oregon and are completing a midwest tour of their Cleveland and Minnesota roots.
Have fine rainy Sunday one and all.

48F/9C Cloudy, most likely get some rain.
Stuck home as the big girls have commandeered all the cars. So it's Zaria and her BFF Carly and I. Those two won't be up for many hours yet so I'll have a quite morning down in my shop. I'm converting a Baby Taylor into a Tres.

sky is blue, no clouds in sight (from my living room window), more work in the garden today weeding the blueberries, prepping for a larger net protector for the new blueberry plants, getting the weeds out of the rhubarb patch - after the chores of course.

 I had plans to mow today. Don't know now. Guess I could shovel the ashes from the fireplace so we can get it going again. Most certainly a good day for that. Not going out. Hwy50 from Cimarron to the Colorado border is closed. |
