Well I made it for my full shop time yesterday but it really wore me out and I napped for most of the afternoon.

Morning all. Last night was the first normal sleep I've had since. Went to bed at ten and didn't wake up until 5:30.
We are starting to prep the house for the summer heat. I've never had to do this before. Apparently in the desert, when one leaves for a length of time, in addition to the usual stuff of stopping the mail, we have to prep for the possible invasion of cockroaches and other insects. Also leave 5 gallon buckets of water in the rooms so things don't get overly dry. We will leave the air conditioner on, but set at 90-95 degrees. Lastly, apparently we need to put a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil in the garbage disposal and dishwasher to keep the seals from drying out. And cover the toilets with plastic wrap so they don't evaporate. Sheesh, the desert is harsh on stuff.
Off to Home Depot now before it gets too hot to get some of the stuff to do the above. We head home on Tuesday.
