So why am I awake? It's 2 AM for crisssakes! Well if I was in a solo apartment I could do some practicing my guitar piano.
Well I'm vertical again.

76F/24C Sunny.
Got out detecting for a few minutes yesterday. No problem swinging my detector but legs still too weak for all the bending down and getting up when digging targets. It'll take time.
Shop time for most of the day.
I'm making baked ziti for dinner. Not really on my diet but the kids like it.

Good morning.
Another nice day here but the ladies have the golf course this morning. I've watered the flowers and plants and have a hose running in the pool to replace what has evaporated. It's 7:45 and I don't know what I'll do to waste the day yet. The wife's still sleeping.

Pork potato curry for dinner, an apple in there for its pizazz, too. Turned the a/c on while I was cooking. Wife had a busy day, probably the same tomorrow.

Good news is that a tree guy says he can save my storm-stressed and broken linden tree in my front yard. Bad news is that it will lighten my wallet by $900.
Barb gets her car today -- can't wait to get a photo of her with Blackie and me with Blue-ie.

Up and at work. Another adventurous night of coughing, coupled with that special add-on of feeling like somebody is kicking me in the back when I do. Fark.
On the bright side, it was 58 degrees when I woke up. As The Other Paul is doing, I've some serious tomatoes going. The shortest of 24 plants is 3 feet now. All are bearing fruit, and I reckon in about two weeks or so, we'll be awash in red. I should get some pictures up so Paul and I can compare notes.

Heyyyyy..... Up not as early as yesterday, so will get some breakfast, go to PT, and figure the rest of the day after that. The walk can wait until sundown. Looking at almost 100º today, so that will start warming up the pool which is full now. Had a note this morning from Swannanoa buddy Jay Whitham, who has found me a room for the Saturday night before camp starts in a 100+ year old house on the same property they live on. So accommodations and transportation are covered and the final month's wait has begun.  |

Back from CO. Lots of windshield time. My tomatoes fared well. The beans not so much. The critters got to em'. Good to be home, great trip though. I love Crested Butte.
