Good morning!
Ken, where DO you find these crazy video clips??? 😁
Busy day here just "getting things done". A friend is arriving late morning to run through a short set of songs we will do at his annual gathering this Saturday. He has friends who are very good musicians and their band plays each year for this event. He and I work up 8 songs that we play when the band takes a break. We performed those songs and and some others last weekend at the potluck picnic I organize for my condo complex and things went well so I think we are as ready as we are going to be! 😁
Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Good morning.
Yesterday turned out hotter than expected but maybe today will be cooler and there is a NW breeze which should help some. Got no plans though. Still waiting for golf weather when I won't melt after a couple of holes.
Happy Tuesday. Celebrate that it isn't Monday anymore.

Back home from IA. Huge storms rolled through and there was a lot of flooding along the Rock River. Houses were completely surrounded by water. Pumps were going everywhere but there was no place for the water to go. Where we were, in Ankey, they have a drought going in.
When we got home, the rain gauge showed there was 4 inches of rain while we were gone. Over a 4 day period, that was a lot of rain. Stay on the sunny side of the street.

Up here.
Coffee out by the pool earlier, then got my walk in before it gets to be 99º again.
Bills to pay before I go to the local clinic to get my ears cleaned out. With freshly tuned hearing aids, I don't want to miss a note at Swannanoa.
Hoping to have my mower back today.....most of my yard is 8-10 inches tall and I don't want to leave Saturday with a jungle facing me upon my return. With 22 hp and a 46" cut, it won't take that long to knock out. Except the back yard around the pool will need two trips. It's taller than my dogs.
5 days to AVL

No cured meats. No pork loin. No Maid-Rite, although we did pass by a huge, new Maid-Rite with lots of cars and tractors in the lot.

Ken, that gif is disturbing.
Well, it's mostly over for a bit. We got some stuff done and have endured the heat. Today we clean the condo, and pack up for a early morning exit tomorrow.

Typo. Big fingers on little keys makes for errors. Plus, I was 79.46% asleep. I have been in Ankeny many times. I will be there many more. I know how to spell it. I just don't always know how to type it.
