Gorgeous day on the left coast. Played some guitar, read a good book, went for a bike ride with da wife, and worked out. Settling down for the late afternoon with Black IPA, which seems like a cross between a stout and an IPA, is damned fine.
Been working on learning to play the last piece I wrote. Amazingly enough, it looks doable.

Just got Back from David's house. Had a faboo time there meeting Doug and Kris, and David's friends from Down the street, Mark and Tammy. Mark has a recording studio in his home and played a fine sounding Alvarez. We had burgers, beer, and music. Super fun. Thanks David and Suzanne for being great hosts. (Hope I spelled David's wife name correctly)

Dub, as an aside, I have my room reserved at CCI. I'll be getting there Thursday, dinner time? Driving over from Princeton, KY, home of Eddie, Penny and Alonzo. Pretty sure I'll be traveling with Ray Chesna, Swannanoa and occasional adventuring buddy. You'll enjoy him as well. Looking forward to it. We have a room at CCI too and will be getting in Thursday night… after eight hours of driving. But we might only have to drive two hours from Louisville if we drive earlier in the week and stay with my granddaughter and her family. |

No internet at my SIL's
Chris and I had a great afternoon at David's with Mike, Mark, Tammy and Suzanne. (and not to leave out Loretta and Phoebe - well behaved hunting dogs).
Stopped by the motel on the way to David's to let them know we would be in later. Had reservations for weeks now but it took sitting around for 1.5 hrs to get a room and it wasn't the room I reserved. Not a happy camper.
* If I spelled David's wife's name wrong it's Mike's fault as I copied his spelling.
