Another day .........October 9
This is my today’s thought
I need and enjoy sharing my space with healthy people as far as they seek about a journey. Some mental illness people try to get too close. I am polite and I go away fastly. I keep my space/aura sane and positive.

Gosh, I had to look that up--10/9th it is. Took the day off from cycling and went for a drive, a loop that, now that I know it's open, maybe I'll try on a bike tomorrow.
The wife's cooking: a creamy potato casserole, sashimi, and probably something else.

Good morning.
9th of October and the A/C is running. Supposed to rain later so work on the shed is on hold. I may be forced to play guitar and see if all this physical activity has had an effect on my arm strength. That was the hope anyway, that if I got back to "Normal" activity levels maybe the strength would improve.

In two hours I will be having two wisdom teeth pulled along with some other work being done by the periodontist. Take care of your teeth, kids.

Crud, Howard. I hope they heal up quickly.
Up and awake. Today is a federal holiday, so I am off. We have band practice at 10, and then I'm off for the rest of the day, less attending confirmation classes with Robin this afternoon. I told her after last week's class that she is free to form her own opinions about what we're hearing from Pastor Bloch. He's a retired Army chaplain and a good guy.

It ain't Columbus Day. Anyone with any sense, which obviously excludes the Federal Guv'mint, knows that Columbus Day is October 12. They moved it so it wouldn't steal any thunder from your birthday, Lar! 😁😉. I am sitting in the hospital waiting room while Mom has a PET scan. A year ago she had a nasty surgery for cancer. She has been doing remarkably well and is a very resilient 87 year old! I am grateful!! Busy month of appointments for her and therefore for me. We see a dermatologist this Thursday then a return to the oncologist next week. Last week we saw her PCP. Between her appointments and caring for my grandson I have had appointments to do selections for the remodeling project. I am heading to Aruba at the end of the month. That thought keeps me going!!! Have a good week, Everyone!! |
