Good morning and Happy November.
I find that if I have my left fingers held around something like a steering wheel or in this case the handle of the mower yesterday after a while the little and ring fingers cramp and won't move. After a few minutes I can get them moving again but eventually and not long they'll cramp again. I don't know if that's just part of the normal recovery from the ulnar nerve surgery or trying to tell me it didn't work. Anyway, I'm skipping the open mic tonight, avoiding manual labor and considering that I may never really play well again. Old age sucks sometimes.

I'm up. Cleaning the back gutter before the rain comes this am. Then off to Corvallis to meet a engineer to assess the damaged foundation and p,an a fix. Hopefully. Sigh.
And that is pretty murph my fun for the week.

We're planning to do some work on the camper today, as we haven't been camping in about 3 years and will never go if we don't get things fixed. I'll also be looking at my limited choices for Obamacare open enrollment. My current insurance carrier bailed on my county. So I'll be signing up with my 4th carrier in 4 years.
I went to Old Farts Coffee with Mr. H yesterday. Only us and one other couple. Used to be it was around 8 old guys each week. Followed that with a trip to the food co-op to stock up on hot cereals for cold winter mornings. Got down to 44F last night.

Up, but have a major case of the slows today.
Waiting on a call from Saint Luke's to finally get an MRI scheduled there at the hospital. Found out it couldn't be done anywhere else due to configuring and programming of my pacemaker. And the transplant team have decided to put the mitral valve issue aside, not as urgent as initially thought. They will monitor that while I go ahead with the hernia repair and shoulder replacement. I'm taking that as good news, and can now move forward with the other. Even though I'm still waiting.....

Morning
36F/2C cloudy with a good chance of snow/rain. The dewpoint is low but the humidity fairly high for the temp, you can really feel that cold today.
Doing laundry and working in my shop. Tonight, baked mostaccioli with meatballs. I did all the prep yesterday and put it in a covered baking pan in the fridge. Today all I need do is throw it in the oven until all the mozzarella topping is golden brown.
