But it’s still a draft. I’m doing just to do some writing for poetry, essays, short stories, fiction, and more
It’s a new house that doesn’t have any paint doors windows and roof.
I need some helpers
Does anybody know about blogs? Should I just go to the library and get a book?
Thank you friends.

T-Bob, I know nothing about blogs. I really don't understand why anyone does a blog. Or a podcast.
Once, when I was a kid, I saw a science fiction horror movie called "The Blob". It was pretty stupid but some slime thing from outer space was killing people in rthe fog, in Los Angeles. It's too bad it was science fiction because if it had killed a bunch more people the freeways down there wouldn't be so bad.
Maybe you could do a blog about bad science fiction!

I don't know nuttin about blogs.
I suspect it's like an electronic diary for people who have a unique situation that others might learn from. If that's the case, then go for it !
But I personally don't get blogs. I don't follow any. I don't read any. They strike me as like those Christmas form letters people send out every year that brag about all the wonderful things that have happened to them the last year. Personally I think a Christmas card should be about the recipient and wish them a Merry Christmas, not blab on about the cool things the author did the last year.
One year Sue and I talked about writing a fake Christmas narrative; sort of an SNL like take-off on a Christmas letter. Like a Simpson sketch.
. . . , but I digress.
As i said, I know nothing about blogs.

I thought Blogs were those plastic half-shoes I see all the hipster doofusses wearing. You know, like what Chef Mario Batali wears on that TV show about mastication.

No offense, Bob, but all I know about blogs is that I've never found one interesting enough to follow.

Bob, starting a blog is as easy as logging onto google blog spot. support.google.com/blogger/answer/1623800?hl=enJust follow the prompts. You'll find all kinds of templates and creating posts isn't any more complicated than posting on the Soundhole. A number of potters keep up blogs because we started them back when they actually were a "thing". It's turned out to be a somewhat useful storehouse for information that is otherwise not formally archived anywhere else. Few blogs end up with followers anymore, but there is still the occasional traffic that happens as people google search for topics. I'll get a few thousand viewers (like, for instance, with my poetry parodies). Mostly, I archive things there that I doubt I'll find in my own files.

Bob, I took a brief shot at starting a blog a few years ago when my wife and I started our duo. It was pretty easy. In my case I set up with Wordpress.com. All free with nice formatting and presentation tools without being overly complex. This is what I managed to cook up as a newby unskilled dork: Midlife Musician

Blogs have long since been overtaken by FB, Twitter, Instagram, etc...
Or course you could also try MySpace.
