Good morning.
It's still below freezing.
Microsoft is trying really hard to load that creator's update on Mary's laptop and it kicks us off-line so I can't let that happen but the ways I had figured out to stop it months ago aren't working today. I kill it and it starts up again a few minutes later. They never learned, and there were a lot of complaints, that that download kills your whole bandwidth if you have DSL. I'll probably waste the day trying to periodically stop the download unless I can find a way to disable it restarting. Disabling the services doesn't work. Apparently something in their last update makes them immortal. That's why it's The Creator's Version.

Twice as warm today than yesterday. Yesterday 4 degrees fahrenheit. Today 8. Downright balmy. This might be the year of winter warm weather vacation.

Good Morning Good People
Snowy, but not very cold. Nightly snowblower missions. My high-energy retired next-door neighbor does sidewalks for several neighbors in the morning and I come along in the evening and clean up the lake effect snow accumulated during the day.
Office work this morning, necessary retail activity later on that might involve a mission with granddaughter and dog to the local Cabela's store.
Have a fine Saturday one and all. Please join me in celebrating Beethoven's birthday.

Starting out at 28F. We call that winter. Yesterday's trip to Tucson was successful. Got Mr. H to his lab appointment on time and managed to get to his retinal specialist early. This in spite of having to be squeezed in an hour before planned because they were not showing his appointment. Since they didn't call to confirm the day before, he called them. Apparently whenever he schedules an appointment in Tucson from another office, we need to follow up a day or two later to make sure it's real. Spent $400 on just a few items at Costco before heading home.
Hoping to finally start on Christmas cards and get the tree up today.

Morning 30F/-1C Cloudy. Got a touch of snow last night. Got up late and found out we have no hot water, we did, until girls started showering before going out shopping. So now I'm sitting here being grumpy and waiting for water to heat so I can start my day. Austin 50F Phoenix 69F Key West 77F

I'm up to some extent. Coffee, morning pills.
Other than that, I just don't know.

Up and awake. Kathy and I got together with most of the rest of the band and spouses for a night of Karaoke last night. Too dang funny. Buch of over 40s and 50s carrying on like a bunch of hooligans.

Just back from running errands and treating myself to Welsh Rabbit at Ward 6. Now it's time to watch some football (Bears/Lions) and prepare some chicken thighs for roasting tonight.
At the supermarket the red kettle dude was playing carols on an accordion, and getting lotsa kettle moolah. You know what, "Jingle Bells" sounds pretty good on an accordion!

Twice as warm today than yesterday. Yesterday 4 degrees fahrenheit. Today 8. Downright balmy. This might be the year of winter warm weather vacation. I understand your meaning but of course you realize that 8° F is only 0.854% warmer than 4° F. But 8 is twice as many as 4.
