Got an extra chorus rehearsal this afternoon, just a sectional.
Reservations are made for dinner tonight at a nice place. Since it reopened a few months ago with new owners, we have only been there for brunch. No special occasion. We just need a distraction.
Tomorrow I take Mr. H for a shot in the eye. I believe this will be number 54. Meanwhile, he is scheduled for cataract surgery on the left eye in April. We go to Tucson next week for the measurement for the new lens. It's tricky scheduling things so that the surgery and related appointments don't interfere with the shots or vice versa. This and another medical issue for him have been more consuming than I would like. We're both looking forward to getting back to the routine in about 6 months. Not that we can count on that, with him in his 70s and me in my 60s.

Dusting of snow. Watched “The Shape Of Water” last night. Best picture?? Hummmmm Amazing how you can screw up what was actually a pretty good story with a cliche ridden screenplay. I like it, but not sure about best picture. Same with Lady Bird. |

Afternoon again..... Been to Dodge City to the hearing aid store for tweaks, batteries, and new filters. On the my nail tech for a fill. They'll be in fine shape for the set I play Sunday morning in Abilene on the way to the last appointments at Saint Luke's until October. Making some soup from what is left from one of those in-store roasted chickens. No nap today.  |
