Good morning 🌞 Here’s a little Buddha
Skilled Speech When we speak with greater skill, our true self—our compassionate, loving self—emerges with gentle ease. So before you speak, stop, breathe, and consider if what you are about to say will improve upon the silence.

Good morning.
T-Bob, what happened to your Yankees?
Supposed to be around 60 degrees today and I'll probably mow but the temp drops from here 'til Monday. Where's Spring?
Happy Thursday.

"So before you speak, stop, breathe, and consider if what you are about to say will improve upon the silence." I doubt that it's possible, Bob.
Good morning, everyone. A friend will stop by for coffee in the backyard this morning. This afternoon I'll see my surgeon and get my stitches and staples removed. Other than that I'll loaf and call it recuperation. Have a good day.

Mornin'.....
Trying to get things done so Barb and I can go to Wichita tomorrow. The big full-size van we bought a couple of years ago that has a wheelchair lift for Jo has too many problems. We're going to trade it for a mini-van with a manual ramp, entering through the hatchback. The old van had mechanical issues plus the side doors quit opening. And it was SO loud on the highway.
Back in a day or two.

Going to the dentist this morning to finish a crown, so I must be royalty.
32 teeth in a jawbone, Alabama trying for none...

Morning 48F/9C Sunny. Should get higher than predicted and being sunny will help get rid of a lot of snow on the ground. I will spend the morning in my shop but it's too nice out to stay down there all day so I will go to Neumann's Bar for lunch. If any of you MN Mafia guys have time I'll be there about noon, sorry Terry. Pine Island. 80F.

Wheel of Fortune comes on just before Jeopardy! every night. For that reason I usually end up seeing all or part of the show. I almost always see the bonus round. A fairly new change the game show has made is that the person who gets to go to the bonus round gets to pick a topic from which the final puzzle will be chosen. The choices are things like "Place" or "Thing" or "Around the House" or "Things You Wear" or "Foods and Drink". By seeing what the final puzzles are, you can almost hear the meeting the producers have before and between shows. "Well, we've given a way LOTS of cash this week. Time for an unsolvable. Bring on the Z, Q, and J words." Lots of examples of words and phrases that, after given the R, S, T, L, N and E, are still almost impossible to solve. I have yet to see these final puzzles: Listerine, Wrestling, Nestle's, Rustoleum. Maybe those will pop up some day when they haven't had a winner in a coupla months. But since they've started offering the choice of topics, a new complication has occurred. The puzzle doesn't actually meet the topic. Last night, for instance, had the final contestant picking "Place" from the list of 3 topics provided her. I'm not saying she would have gotten the puzzle anyway. She really didn't have enough letters turned over for much probability of that occurring. After the provided R, S, T, L, N, and E and the letters she chose, she was looking at: _ _M-P_ _ _E_ HO_SE Again, I don't think anyone would have gotten the answer.... ...but I KNOW nobody would get the answer if they thought they were trying to guess a "Place" when the answer was "JAM-PACKED HOUSE" ....which is, I believe, a "Thing", not a place.

Beautiful morning, noon and most of yesterday's snow has already melted. Spent most of the morning trying to figure out my new recorder (TASCAM DP-03SD). Now it's lunch time; cold meat loaf covered with horse radish with a side of raw veggies and coffee to wash it all down. Life is good!

Welcome blue sky - it might get to 65 today and no rain likely until this evening. Bought a small Traeger last weekend so I am trying to find the right cooking experiment for the weekend.
T-bob - Thanks for the Buddha advice.
