Good looking day here, a little rainfall overnight, sun and a high in the upper 70s today. Hoping our DC/Virginia contingent weathered the storm OK last night.

Today's pushups: 20, 25, 15, 15, 30.
Will do this again (and try for 35+ on the last set), before moving up to the next day.

Good morning.
The house got washed yesterday. His gas powered pressure-washer made it a lot faster than if I had used my little electric one. House looks good. He did interfere with my plan to wash the pool cover so I'll try to finish that today. Had some storms last night so there was a lot of crap in the pool and I'm just about finished cleaning that now. Birch trees make a real mess and the roses took a beating too. THe rose petals made it look like we were set p for a wedding or something. They at least float and can be skimmed out of the pool easily.
Have a good Tuesday. (Yeah, I know T-Bob, the Yankees are a half game up on the Sox).

Hey.
The wife has jury duty for the next week at least, and has been picked to sit on a criminal trial.
Today is mow the backyard day, wash the cars, and pressure wash the patio with my new cheap ryobi electric pressure, which replaces my cheap old dead no name electric pressure washer.
Barbecue flank steak tacos for dinner. And a beer. There will be a beer.

64ΒΊ, also heading to 78ΒΊ today. Rained some last night, to the tune of .25" but we'll take it. So dry here, lawn is slow to green up. Found a nice 48' LED rope light, which I'm putting up around the perimeter of the patio roof just under the edge. A nice light, not too bright, kinda festive. Will be nice for the jam and after dark porch time. Beds were prepped yesterday so after they dry out some, I'll get the tomatoes and peppers in. Then comes the prep and planting of the larger area by the carport, which will be Silver Queen sweet corn.

My mouth is watering. I can taste the butter on a very sweet ear of corn. Yum indeed epaul.

If you could somehow transport some early american from a thousand years ago to the dinner table with that kind of buttered corn, I wonder what the reactions would be.
