16-1, T-Bob. Is it still a good morning?
Another decent weather day but watching that hurricane in the gulf. Good luck to those in the path. It should just be tropical when it gets here but that could wreck parts of N.C. that haven't started to recover from the last one yet.
I'm taking the day off and hope to get some guitar practice in. I'm beat from the work I've done these last 4 days.
Have a good Tuesday wherever you are.

Good morning. We're in Payson. Yesterday it was mostly raining and in the 40s but the rain thoughtfully stopped long enough for us to make one brief hike. This morning it's clear, 30s. We'll soon e off to another destination. Enjoy your day.

Good morning.
51F/10.5C Rain.
Bathroom done except for some minor bits, like getting my girls to decide how much stuff they actually need to store in there. Why do 3 girls need 23 bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash? Yes I counted, and that's just the stuff in the tub/shower, they have 3 shelves of body lotion and who knows what on the wall too.
I have 3 projects going in the shop and need to make progress on all 3 today. First I need some breakfast.
Pine Island 87F. Island under high wave and flood warning. They'll be fine.

I had a really nice visit with the Bushouses yesterday. I took the long way home from Louisville (8 more miles from Louisville...) and stopped in to interrupt their work day and got rewarded with lunch for the effort. Columbus is a beautiful little city, by the way.

We got the furnace going yesterday and it came on a couple of times during the wee hours. Low was 41. I've had some manchego cheese. Every morning, cheese, 2% milk with a couple teaspoons of nonfat dry milk, or a can of sardines. My body needs the calcium due to my parathyroid problem. Breakfast main course comes soon. We're trying spelt flakes. The food co-op didn't have our usual barley flakes, so this is an experiment. Orange juice, an apple, some yogurt, and hot tea will accompany. The smoothie and the sandwich sound good to me, but I'd leave off the salt.
Bunch of errands to run today. If time allows, more yard work.

Columbus is a beautiful little city, by the way. You remember Bob Van Sickle? He lives in Louisville 50%. Phoenix lives in Columbus.

Whelp, the band is officially dead. So much for my mid-life crisis. It is still raining out here in Missouri. I hope to be able to get the grass cut by Thursday. Sheesh!

So make your next musical purchase a digital mixer and powered speakers, should be lots of good used stuff out there. Then you pick the guys and get on with a normal mid-life crisis. But don't buy a sports car, that's lame and pathetic.

My shop went from zero to sixty in the last week. Every flat surface is covered with a project.
