Elder Abuse

If I made this a flushed memo, it’ll make it very simple.

This person is a oldish man. (Name?) Baldwin
His dad died and he decided to grab all the Baldwin money and he put in his mother went to a senior rehab. He is a (mediocre)executor.
He’s probably got about 1/4 of million. He stole all his mother’s beautiful treasures. And I think she’s probably has a 2nd mortgage now. And now his son doesn’t even pays two mortgages.
 The mother obviously has some physical  problems but her mind is very sharp. 
 I was going to be her assistant and companion.  My housing was going to be free - two rooms, private bath, a garage and storage. The village has a beautiful recreation- a pool, gym, theatre, 36 holes golf course. 

This is Fantasy
(I wish I was a Mafia king. I think I truss the son in a vat with small piranhas. )

This is the Reality
Find a pro bono lawyer - I got a settlement
TV Consumer Affairs - I did this and I got some money.

It's so sad when this stuff happens, Bob. I hate to hear it.

Most towns (or counties) have a senior center or some organization that can provide services like counseling for free. I'd start there. If the mom is of sound mind and lets her son rob her there's not much that can be done. Though she can be counseled to not let him take advantage of her. If she's not of sound mind, then there are ways to have a help agency step in and stop what is determined to be elder abuse.

Unfortunately The counseling isn’t helping a whit.

Like I said I had few problems
I found a great group. KPIX-TV Consumer Affairs
I found two government groups - pro bono lawyers

1. I hope the KPIX group helps the old woman.

2. The government is too slow Sometimes they’re great

I think all of the money has gone to another country. Whew!

Besides abuse (or maybe one form of it) there's "undue influence over an elder."
