Sad. Very sad.
I drove through the Russian River Valley a few years ago. Great Pinot Noir country. Beautiful place. This has to be devastating to the people there.

Not sure if they were referring to a record, but we went thru there in the later 90s, took a canoe down the river among other things. At the start, the end and the ride back, the canoe people pointed out how high the water had been.
We didn't see the it, but in Queensland the guides pointed out stuff in the trees, easily a good 10m above us, various crud left up there from flooding.
