I just checked out Bisbee. It's not very Bizee, but it's a very interesting place.
Andrew spoke highly of Agua Prieto, not too far from there.

Best of luck with that, Bob. I hope it all works out. What makes you think of Bisbee? Looks to be the size of Vinton, right on the border.

My friend, Lumpy, was headed to Bisbee. He cared for his Mom until she passed away at 96 in October. She was able to stay in the family home they purchased in 1960. Since the house would be sold, he had to look at livable/affordable options.
Luckily, he met Elaine through Match.com and they are now in her rent control apt in Sherman Oaks, CA, just a 20 minute drive to Santa Monica or downtown LA.

Good evening folks
Matt Sarad - he gave me this city and it could be great. I’ll check out a few more cities. I don’t know people - Bisbee . I always find new people.
I might think about going to relax at PV. I thought about researching- four sleepy towns on the beach. I was there for a week. I should’ve been a lot longer. The part is difficult I don’t know what to do with all my belongings. Mexico is probably going to be so a hardship - only first month. I will acclimate I can rent an apartment for $240 monthly. It’s only four blocks to the beach.
There is the third choice. My son his wife and my old dog and ME could live in a house for a temporary solution.
LATER.
gracias

K. I'm wrong. Bisbee is at 5500 ft altitude, so it's a bit cooler there than most of AZ. Long drive to get to the beach though.

We were just in Bisbee not too long ago sight seeing. We heard complaints from the many artists there who say that the city is changing the rules for renting houses to promote vacation rentals. Long time residents who rent are having to leave because it has created a housing shortage for people who want to live and work there as opposed to weekly vacations.

Bisbee is a Tourist town and has all the problems of being so. It would be a nice place to live and work if you could but probably the people that work there don't live there, too expensive.
Look at Deadwood, SD, very few people live there but a whole lot of people work there.
Find someplace a few blocks off the beach, look farther north.

Bisbee? Bob, you would probably enjoy living there. But there is a lack of medical care. And you would need to drive to Tucson for other things too. Very limited shopping in Bisbee, except for art and antiques.

Very limited shopping in Bisbee, except for art and antiques. I’m not worried about the medical care. Most cronies will have some problems. I have about five medical issues. But they’re not any big deals. I heard that the city has inexpensive housing I need temporary housing for a year+ I will live at Mercy Housing 7/2020 then I don’t have housing problems.
