I really enjoy the forum
I get so tired of all the medical crap. All of us are fucking old. (Not J)
I have five medical diseases or situations and I try not to say about .... apraxia, tinnitus, no tongue taste, ageism memory, COPD (I do have two & three defects - you’re not gonna what it are)
There’s lots of threads are very interesting - cultural, writing , photos, weird stories, music!, a few grieves, etc.
I wish they were a big huge red flags- political or medicine diseases. I can see it read that I don’t even see it - a Trump or “my aching back”
There’s great things to read.

One way is to code the type of thread in the title when that title is not obvious to the content. Political Rant Joke Daily Example from a recent thread: My Wife Just Stopped...../joke

Sorry, no flag buttons, you'll have to type it in the title.

To be honest, Bob, you’re never going to get everyone to do that. And the political posts are pretty obvious. I try to avoid them as well. As far as medical ones go, really? Just click out of them. There’s not that many.

Well, I guess I'll blab on here, instead of the daily or somewhere else...
I'm checking out today (hospital, not a resort hotel!). It's been two months--I was asked to stay and check in right away back on March 7th after a couple tests. They even advised that I check in immediately when I asked about going home (in my car) and returning with a few things an hour or two later in a taxi. Later, on March 26th, they replaced my aortic valve. I'd've been out sooner, but the valve damage was due to some blood infection I had (long story), and the treatment for that has been four IV bags a day since then. (And I've probably done at least a couple dozen blood tests along the way.)
Everything seems fine now, last IV was at 10pm last night (a six week course). I look forward to more physical activity (not just rehab moves), my bike trainer and even some real cycling, maybe get back into pushups (and add some other body-weight things), out with the dog, cooking dinners, laundry, and of course some job jar things around the house.
I've had a private room almost the whole time, which has made the extended stay pretty bearable. No cabin fever or climbing the walls, tho the wifi here sucks in the evenings (when I switch and tether off my phone). Other than not going on and on about this, I've probably been on this and some other forums more than I would be otherwise. I've tried to hold my tongue, instead of replying to or commenting on every other item/thread every hour or two...!

Well. Quite a bit more than just a valve job. Very glad you're recovered. That could've been ver hairy. How did the silent guitar do ya?
