I'm still not impressed with the steroid shot but they said it might take a couple of days to have an effect. If anything, the sharp pain might be a duller ache this morning but that might not last. I want a day when I can get up without being aware of my left leg anymore than my right leg. Standing up straight and walking without a limp would be a bonus. Maybe someday but not today.

Got a few things to do regardless so I'll try to get moving.

Good Morning Good People

Thunderstorms overnight, semi-sunny this morning. Office time this morning. My job is so flexible I can work nights and weekends any time I want. Lots of auto repair time, granddaughter chauffeuring, medical and vet appointments lately so weekend time is necessary to meet the interminable billable time goals. Dinner with friends this evening.

Exciting news in Grand Rabbits is a new REI store. REI used to be the place where we bought backpacking gear by mail order from a newsprint catalog. Now it is rather upscale. I stopped by to check out the store last night. Lots of good stuff, but I don't need anything. I wanted to approach all the sales people and tell them they were all young whippersnappers.

Nice breakfast of muffins and bagels with coffee before I head down to my shop for a few hours. Kaiah talked us into grocery shopping a few days ago so we won't have to do that this afternoon. Both granddaughters are doing things with friends this weekend so DaWife and I will have a long quiet weekend of herding cats in/out. Tonight, top sirloin steaks.

Bruce, maybe it's time to look into some CBD gummies.

Costco has large bags of coffee. I find there breakfast blend quite acceptable. I think it's pretty much Starbucks Pikes Place blend.

My grandson is one of the youngest, and definitely one of the smallest kids on the team. He won his 2nd game ball today. Knocked in the tying run in the first game then scored the go ahead run. Did the same thing the next game as well. He started in centerfield. Then played 2 innings as the catcher. Did good there too. Then pitched for an inning. Pitched a if his legs were tired from catching for the first time. But smiled the whole time.

My daughter was talking about her job at Pill Pack. She talked about how Bezos had the phrase 'Don't be evil' in the mission statement and that he just eliminated that statement. As Katie sez, 'I wonder a little about people who would put that statement in, but worry more about those that would take it out.' Amen.
