Warning ..... my housing..... warning

I’ve been screwing around this housing crap for two years or more. I had about a dozen possibles with housing.
Some of it was weird, strange or odd. A few were about campers and Peace Corps, a rural farm in Petaluma, senior village with a old woman, road journey with a friend, live/work janitor with a church, I could’ve live in a two rooms with a huge house. Etc etc.

I have a few Waiting Lists at Mercy Senior Living Apartments. I was really close getting a studio -Bennett House, Fairfax CA. It would’ve been $420/mo. This was been $300/mo savings.
Bennett House is remodeling for the entire building. It’s all been changed.

You’ve all seen the California housing crisis.

This is a good example with Mexico. I have an small and new apartment. Old Village Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It has a year lease & A/C, kitchen, bathroom, WiFi, smart TV, reasonable furniture. And it’s my place. SOLO. Inexpensive $500/ mo without utilities. I’m looking for a contract soon. It’s hard to write a contract with two countries. It’s not quite done.

My doctor have given some help for another cardiologist doctor in PV. And I’m getting USB flash drive with my medical charts. There’s still a lot of things to do- I need a Visa for 6 mo for work also, change my cell, change my car insurance, I need some storage, and I need to sell some things. Possibly I can barter some stuff. (I need a roof cargo - Thule? and I need a cheap 88 keyboard)
I figured out my expenses in PV Mexico. I have about $350/mo left ....for saving. I can come to fly northern California every six months.

At least 20 friends and acquaintances have told me, I should go to live in Mexico. When I live there, they haven’t to think about my housing.

Sounds as though this could work out, Bob. Fiddlerina and I hope things go as well as you hope they do.

Many years ago I actually considered a retirement home in Costa Rica. Cheap to live well with money left over for flying to visit family and friends.

Edit: actually I don’t have the contract yet.
It might be OK Friday.
It’s very difficult to craft a contract with two countries without a lawyer

2nd Edit: I do have the apartment. And I’m still excited!
