It's one of the TracFone companies, though I have no idea of how they differ. They're all bandwidth resellers that operate on some version of subscription--and they're owned by América Móvil, a huge Mexican outfit run by jillionaire Carlos Slim.
FWIW, we've been TracFone customers for about ten years--and I just signed up for another. I don't know how easy or hard the BYOP (bring your own phone) custom-SIM schemes are to navigate--we just buy the phone from TracFone and use it until network changes force an upgrade.

TracFone don’t really have a service company. You do stuff on the Internet and you get it - Walgreens CVS Walmart Anyway it looks pretty well. I’m just careful and I don’t want to get more updates. |
