I was packing and moving.
My son did helped me but he wanted me to do more. I was exhausted. He thinks that I am incredibly strong. I am strong with my mind and my brain but not my physical. He thinks I am 40 and I am 70. And he thinks that I’m lazy as well. I don’t even near lazy.
It’s been hard for me two years about moving. I’m looking for a solo and I’ve been trying for looking housing. It’s been a pain in the ass for my friends and for me as well.
I hope living in Mexico

Good morning.
Hope the move goes well, Bob.
Supposed to have a few decent weather days here so I should probably get some work done since I don't feel too bad right now, almost "Normal". Once I do a little exercising in the morning, the pain in the left leg pretty much goes away. I'll take it. Now to get some strength back, which requires more exercise I suppose. I have a lot of things outside that need paint. Most of it I can get from a 6' step ladder which should be safe enough. I'm just doing cosmetic painting to try to make the place look not too run down when I need to sell it in a few years. The house is OK, but the out buildings, most of which I've had no use for, look pretty shabby. They probably haven't been painted since they were built about 25 years ago. Finding a buyer for this place won't be easy.
Guitar-wise, I'm up to about 45 minutes now before the left fingers cramp up. Mostly I'm just playing folkie stuff on the Martin but I try a little classical sometimes.
Happy Monday.

Best wishes to you Bob. I admire your focus and persistence in accomplishing this move, being 70 and making such a big change is almost heroic. Actually, it is heroic.
Have good ones, all y'all. (I hear song writer Kate Campbell's cheerfully exuberant voice saying that whenever I type it. It brings a smile to my face.)

I’m up, and the coffee is ready. Heading towards much colder weather. Watching the news, Cal blackouts are expanding so I’ll top off the gas on the truck and should make Canyonville OR on a single tank of gas. Looks like Redding has no electricity.
I don’t know if this is climate change or what but I grew up in Orange County and W Los Angeles and we never lost Electricity. What a mess.

Good morning, all. Bob, I'm sure you'll be glad when the move is complete.
Speaking of home maintenance, we're about to enrich a tree service. Three large trees will be removed and six others will be pruned and treated. That's just a start on what needs doing but I hope to handle most of the rest myself.
We've had a cool snap and it'll be 40s-70s in Phoenix today. I'll be off in a while on a one-night trip to southern Arizona. Have a good day.

Good morning.
39F/4C Cloudy.
Did all my chores yesterday so today will be a lazy one, other than a little shop time to keep projects moving along.

Bought one of these Friday. It's a used but like new Emerald Amicus. I like it a bunch, though it came tuned A to A with an acoustic light 12 string set with that higher octave string and it supposedly comes from the factory with a custom set of of Xtra lights with the low E's tossed out and identical dual courses tuned D to D. Basically an 18" scale carbon fiber 12 string guitar/mando love child. It's a surprisingly fun little thing to play as is and I'll get it around to stringing to factory specs sooner or later. For $995 I'm happy. Very high quality instrument.

Best of luck with the move, Bob. Mexico sounds better than Iowa today. I heard one to two inches of possible snow tonight.
