Don't know how to celebrate the coming new year in a befitting style? There's still a little time left to make plans.
Plymouth, WI a tiny town west of Sheboygan Falls, which is west of Sheboygan is holding it's annual New Year's Eve celebration tonight not by dropping a fancy Waterford ball but by dropping a giant cheese.
If you time it right you can pick up some bratwurst in Sheboygan and then journey west and get some cheese to go with it. Doesn't get much better than that!

You forgot to tell us what kind of cheese. This is very important!

You forgot to tell us what kind of cheese. This is very important! I am sure it is a fine Wisconsin cheddar.

As it turns out it wasn't really cheese at all. It was just a metal box configured to look like a wedge of cheese. It was commissioned by the 4 cheese factories in town. What a disappointment!
