I happened to notice this YouTube submission Friday afternoon and realized it had just been uploaded that same day.
It’s audio only but it’s two complete sets of a show Bill Monroe & The Blue Grass Boys did at Hammersmith Odeon, London, May 2, 1975. Featured in the band is our longtime friend Bob Black on banjo. I got all excited because this is a recording I didn’t know existed but mostly because it’s done with my friend Bob.

Your friend, Bob, can PLAY !In his prime, Bob was one of the four or five best banjo players on the planet. I’ve talked to award winning banjo players who said they wouldn’t take their banjos out of the case in front of Bob. Monroe famously said Bob was the best banjo player on fiddle tunes there was.
