Heavy overcast, windy and chilly. Looking forward to grilling the fresh asparagus I picked yesterday. Coffee. Music, coffee, music, you get the picture.

Good morning.
Warmer here today but they said that yesterday and it didn't happen. Hope they're right today. The sun's out anyway.
Tomorrow is supposed to be a washout so it's just as well we can't do anything or go anywhere. It will be our 50th anniversary. Fortunately we decided against taking a cruise, actually ones we thought about were booked up before the shit hit the fan. Our tradition had been to go to a Japanese Steakhouse wherever we lived at the time and Mary would have lobster. Can't do that this year but I got some lobster tails from The Clam Shack yesterday so she'll still have her lobster though she'll have to cook it. Our plan is to wait until it's safe to travel and then go north or south somewhere as a late celebration. She's not happy with the plan but there's nothing I can do about it which doesn't make it not my fault.
Have a safe and well Wednesday.

38 degrees out. Ain't it supposed to start warming up? Bright and sunny though. Gonna take a walk with my honey at noon.

Great day shaping up. Sunny, 60’s forecast, light northwest breeze. Lots of shop work to do but there is a lot of guilt involved in wasting a day like this indoors.
An aside. I set out the Spartan mosquito eradicators yesterday. I have used them the last two years and they work! Best to hang them early in the season. Late April or early May for our region.

Sunny and 60's today. The inaugural "wearing of the shorts" to work has commenced.

I’ve discouvered a slow leak in my ebikes front wheel. I need to figure out what size it is so I can order a replacement tube. Old eyes have trouble making out the black on black faded impression on the side of the tire.
Also need to order for curbside pick up some bags of soil for our raised bed.
And laundry will get done today.
Exciting, no?

Good morning
Got a decent nights sleep, I needed it.
Got down to my shop and repaired a coaster for Me Darling Wife. It's in clamps right now so when I get down there later I'll remove them, clean up the excess glue and oil it. It's a simple thing but simple things first, then I'll move on to more complicated things. Every day a little bit better.

Good morning. I went to a local riparian area before sunrise. It's a good place to walk and often has a lot of waterfowl. They were sparse this morning. Maybe a lot of them have flown north. There were enough birds for me to take a slew of bad photographs and one or two that soared to the level of mediocre. Pleasant outing.
Try to keep on the sunny side.

I breathed in my first bug on my run this morning. One of the hazards of running in the woods in warmer weather. I spent the next five minutes bent over trying to hack it back up. I'm better now.
