Troubled but talented individual. When he was on, he was really on.

What got him? I didn't see. He was only 73. Saw an old friend last night. Known him since 5th grade. He was a founder of my first rock-n-roll band. . . . , my only rock-n-roll band, actually. He's had heart trouble. A heart attack a fe years ago. But he's recovered and doing well on that front. But he confessed that he's got pulmonary Fibrosis. That's what got his dad, he said. Something he'll have to watch for sure. They're being very careful on the COVID front. Sue and I are the first people they've seen in a couple months. We sat out in his back yard around the fire pit and talked for a long while. Good to see Frankie Beatle.

I loved every version of Fleetwood Mac. Sigh.

I loved every version of Fleetwood Mac. Sigh. Mike I just did a little YouTubing and was shocked to listen to Peter playing "Black Magic Woman," which I always assumed was indeed a Santana original -- I knew virtually nothing of early Fleetwood Mac. Even more shocking was how similar Carlos' lead parts were/are to Peter's original lines. Maybe that was done out of respect.

- I have a Vanguard 3CD with The Chicago/The Blues/ Today. More Peter Green (possible). The amazing entire CDs - James Cotton , Junior Wells, Otis Spann, Johnny Shines, Big Walter Horton, Willie Dixon etc.

Never did listen to them much in his day. Started with Bare Trees, and this made me go back and listen to it. Great tune. Going to have to listen to the album soon.
