Today and tomorrow sound like the epitome of Indian Summer here -- sunny and 70 degrees today, with 75 predicted for tomorrow. I'll have to get out and about when my work shift ends at 3.
Had a godawful time trying to connect with my workplace mother ship this morning, something I suspect had to do with being away for more than a week. But I elbowed my way in somehow. Need to keep those dollar bills coming in!
Gorgeous day so far. The rest of the week looks like it is dedicated to ending our drought, and just in time. Once the ground freezes we can't refill our wells. Have grand ones.
Everybody's had a few, Now they're talking about who knows who. I'm goin' back to the town where everybody knows your name.
Don't have any plans for today as of yet. I'll get some breakfast in me and then see how the day looks. One of my faults is not eating enough, been that way since they took that damn feeding tube out of me, just no apatite. Good thing I got my girl around to yell at me.
Good morning. It's finally cooling off here although it's still significantly warmer than normal. My plan for the day is to get some more beds ready for planting and avoid reading the news. Enjoy your day.

Looking at a good week weather wise. Time to finish up garage cleaning, and yard work.
Our 12 year old Denver twins had a friend test positive so they got tested and are negative but they have to quarantine. That is tough at that age. When they were born, having not been around any twins, I was so blown away by the bond between them even as babies. That has continued. Here is the last verse of a song I wrote about them when they were born. Kind of appropriate now.
To the melody of Ragtime Cowboy Joe😊
Well now we’re out In the cold cruel world where it’s not Always easy being a little girl but when Things get a little tough We’ll hang onto each other You know that always seems to be enough When the road starts going uphill and takes a bend Joined at the hip don’t give us no lip We’re twins!

Is it possible that one or more of the meds you take are suppressing your appetite? Ask your doc.

Quite true Doc thanks. I'll bring that up on my next visit. In the meantime I have a wife that knows the phrase "What have you eaten today?" quite well. We don't do all meals together, usually just dinner.

This is my favorite time of year and more so when I was metal detecting. Which I haven't had the energy for the last few years. It's not the walking, it's the kneeling down and standing up.
Garage cleaned and organized and boat inside yesterday. Hooray! Back at the office this a.m. My darlin' wife has been away for the week - returning today thank goodness.
I just got a great report on the chukar, grouse and quail populations in one of my old hunting spots in eastern Oregon, plus the fall Chinook are coming in. I don't know whether to go east to hunt or to go west and fish this weekend. A nice problem to have.
