I just watched the entire series -
Five seasons in Netflix
It’s a good binge - sex, drugs, violence, architecture
very interesting in the gypsy families
And the 1920-1930s history as well

Peaky Blinders is really good. Love it. I finished the last series of Schitt's Creek last night on Netflix. That was about as different as you could get from Peaky Blinders. Really charming, touching and funny, character driven comedy. It gets better and more assured after a slightly shaky start.

I thought the first episode stunk. Stereotypical easy jokes. Shallow characters. I suppose it gets better based on so many people that like it. But I'm not sure I want to risk wasting time on it. |

A not untypical reaction Marshall. I tried series one a few years ago and decided not to bother. I didn't realise, until it won a load of awards last month that it had gotten so much better. It really did. Critics and public alike all came to really like it as the characters developed over the years. On revisiting for another try, to see if it might grow on me, I was not disappointed. I found it an unadulterated pleasure.
