I’ve been watching some sappy Hallmark-esque series
Virgin River. It was a lot better than the debate.

What I saw, Trump was holding his own. He didn't interrupt. He made his nasty personal points in as logical a fashion as he ever has. Unsubstantiated. But there never stops him from scoring points with his followers. Joe held up fine but wasn't as pointed in his responses to Trump as I would like. But he looked and sounded as solid and coherent as anyone does in these Prezzy debates in my lifetime. But I cut out early. Debates are normally boring. These are not boring but disturbing. I suppose that's where we're at. PS - I got my Election Day assignment. I have to go to the LUTHERAN CHURCH ! ! ! ! A whole 3 miles away. To be a judge.  |

Interesting to hear Trump claim he is still developing a health care plan. I think we've developed herd immunity to that particular fairy tale.

No one person can develop a health care plan. The contentious nature of politics today mean that only when one party has majorities in the Executive, the House, and the Senate can you get anything comprehensive done. Trump had 2 years to do that, but instead he blew it fighting over the Wall. Obama had it for a while and got Obamacare through. It as not what he wanted, but it was all he could get though the process.
What I saw of it last night, I thought Trump did better than before and probably raised his Presidential status an iota. Biden did fine but hit no home runs, so he didn't gain any ground. If anyone gained it was Trump. Though the gains are miniscule. But miniscule is all that's left of undecided. So, was it enough to push the needle on Nov 3? Who knows? It's going to be a close one.

Trump’s make up artist should get an Emmy. His doctor too. He was well bronzed and high energy.
If he’s not on uppers his resilience post COVID is impressive.
The moderator did a good job.
