Tonight will most likely be something dead simple, don't know exactly what yet.

Spaghetti and meatballs, takeout cause we get a free meal from Spagetti Factory for my wife’s birthday. Defrosting a small piece of brisket, which I’ll coat with a rub tomorrow, and smoke the next day. Then I’ll cook it low and slow in a Dutch oven, with peppers, wine, coffee, chocolate, spices until it falls apart for tacos. Should be scrumptious.

Tonight is a couple of NY strips, baked potatoes (to use up the last of the sour cream before it becomes really sour cream) and a vegetable to be named later.
A slice of pumpkin pie with a unceremonious dollop of cool whip on top.

No lunch, which is normal. Biscuits and gravy for breakfast. No pictures, all gone. Dinner will be snacks of some sort because I was assisting Mr. H on a plumbing job that took longer than expected and we didn't plan dinner or take anything out of the freezer. Just finished our walk as the sun was sinking. Still need to go to the hardware store tomorrow.

Lunch was a chunky peanut butter and cheddar cheese sandwich.
When Riley kitty and I woke up from our afternoon nap we were informed there would be lasagna for dinner. And I don't have to make it.

A while back I smoked a chicken. We ate part and I froze part. Tonight we're having chicken noodle soup made with the frozen part, plus rolls, green salad and fruit.

Lj called a while ago. He can't get pictures to post for some reason tonight so I said of course I'd be happy to post his dinner for him.

Are gray squirrels "gray" because that's their meat? (no light or dark)

Thanks, Todd. After how I had to chase that thing through 5 yards, across a pond, and under a double wide trailer before I got him (I was hammer hunting since people want it quiet in the neighborhood), I didn’t want to miss getting the grilling photo up. Tasty little guy, too.
