Delving into the story behind Vladimir Horowitz’ virtuoso 1986 Moscow concert, the documentary weaves together concert footage, historical context, and original interviews with Horowitz’ former manager Peter Gelb, composer Tatjana Komarova, violoncellist Alina Kudelevic, and contemporary piano virtuosos Martha Argerich, Daniil Trifonov and Sophie Pacini. If you like classical piano...... That Vladimir- just check out his fingers. I’ve never seen anybody could play it different way. He always has his own piano to every concert! At the end of the documentary- Schumann’s Traumerei. It’s just amazing. I even play this one as well. I can’t do it that well but I can do it.
