I thought that was a This Old House segment about what to do when the paneling in the man-cave has been darkened by cigar and pipe smoke and you notice that the walls behind the beer signs and neon lights is lighter than the surrounding areas.

I've always loved the word pine for some unknown reason. Perhaps, it's that my grandparents lived in the hills of California where Ponderous Pines dominated. They were huge and beautiful.
So for me repine, is not going to be in my vocabulary.
