It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our dear and gifted friend, Mort Sahl. How can his brilliance ever be matched? The last of a generation of comedians has moved on to his next gig. With his laser sharp wit, educated opinions on current affairs and politics, passion for telling stories of working with the likes of Miles Davis to JFK, Mort was, above all, a romantic. He believed in love, loved “going to work” every Thursday night at the Theatre, and never gave up on falling in love again.
