Ever wonder what you might do if you had an extra $17,000 sitting around? I might buy this!

Morning peeps. Took a little after breakfast drive yesterday to see some fall colors. I don't know why we bothered as Montana is just nasty this time of year

Morning all. We had about thirty trick or treaters last night, which was less than half of what we expected. I figured with Covid on the decline, there would be pent up demand so we way over bought candy. The upside was all of our trick or treaters were little goobers and incredibly cute, and well trained by their parents to say thank you. I had forgotten how enjoyable it was to greet little dressed up goblins and princesses.
A week from today we leave for Kauai. A week after that my daughter and fiancé will join us and they will get married on the beach at Hanalei. So we are in major planning mode here. I’m just trying to stay out of the way as Mom and daughter are planning/shopping/clothes/jewelry/flowers/photogs…yikes.

Steve, I don't know how you can stand it there.
Good morning. Virus numbers are increasing here and they were too high to begin with. It's getting old but whining doesn't help. I'll have outside coffee with a friend this morning. Enjoy your day.

I'm wearing socks because it's a crepuscular 54 degrees. Costco run planned for later. I hope they have some of the things on our list. Tomorrow I have a routine medical appointment in the morning and then take Mr. H for an eye injection in the afternoon. Wednesday is a Zoom social call and choir practice. Thursday I have a consultation with an orthodontist. Old age is keeping me busy.
We got the same number of trick or treaters that we had last year, zero. Had walked around the neighborhood the night before to look at decorations. Only one house was lit up and it was elaborately decorated. Very few decorations anywhere and no other lighting.

Last night's low 53-54, this afternoon up to not quite 70, sunshine and high cirrus, tomorrow and the next day look about the same. 42km ride, wife made dinner.
Browsing new laptops online. This one's mid-2014 and just missed being eligible for the newest system update--tho it's not a major one. Wait time is listed as 4-5 weeks.

I didn't count them, but judging by the candy I went through, I'd say I had about 75 takers last night. Including a couple teenagers who didn't even bother to put a red nose on, just normal grubwear.

Good morning.
35F right now headed for a high of about 45F. Not going anywhere so no big deal.
I think we got 3 Trick or Treaters last night, DaWife decided she was going to give out candy, not me, I stayed in my office on the PC.
We picked up a couple of New York Strip steaks while shopping yesterday. I made those with pan fried potatoes and a side salad. I did a good job as they were a perfect medium rare and juicy, potatoes crispy on the outside tender on the inside.
Shop time.

Thanks, Bill. One of my favorite tracks ever. I was looking for it when I noticed you had posted it. It sealed the deal for me, falling in love with Judy.

Good Morning Good People
Partly cloudy and chilly. About 50 trick or treaters last night, much fewer than most years. Halloween celebration combined with a celebration of our daughter having made 30 trips around the sun, even though I am too young to have both my kids in their 30s.
Distasteful tasks await before winter arrives, including climbing up on the garage roof to patch leaks, moving firewood, and cleaning greasy grills.
Have a fine All Saints Day one and all.

Another pretty nice day, nice enough so that in an hour I'll hook the trailer to the truck and head for the cabin. Not much to do there but I'll blow the leaves away from the buildings and then load up the tractor and bring it home for the winter. Long range forecast is for 60 degrees next weekend!

Looks like the cold is here to stay for a while. Trees are 80% bare. Leaves are all mulched, almost all fair weather accoutrements stowed.
Left two chairs on the deck just to give us fookin hope.
