Meat Loaf, of Bat Out of Hell and other bombastic rock, died at 74 last night. I remember him being interviewed, I don’t recall by whom, and being called Mr. Loaf.

It's overwhelming, the loss of icons and celebrities of our earlier years in the last couple of decades, not to mention family and friends.
