The 2 year anniversary of "2 weeks to flatten the curve".
Celebrate wisely.

Being male, I'm not too curvy. Yet.

It occurred to me this morning that I appear to have made it through winter without ever switching over to my snow tires. I guess that means it was not too nasty of a winter -- but up here we have seasonal memory akin to recollections of childbirth pain.

Getting up to about 60 today, with strong thunderstorms predicted this afternoon.
Nothing out of the ordinary to report.

It should (could) hit 70 here today. I just finished a great breakfast, fried up some pepper bacon and then used some bacon greese to Sautee peppers, mushrooms and onions for my omlette. And, of course I added a little garlic and herb boursin cheese. Orange juice and all of this followed by coffee.
I'm going to get the bike out this afternoon and go for my first ride of the year on the Cedar Valley Nature Trail.
Grilled pepper garlic chicken for dinner tonight.

Good morning
44F and sunny right now headed for maybe 57F today, T-shirt weather.
Doc's appointment today, besides poking and prodding I'm not sure what they are going to do.
A little shop time first.

Sun was in my eyes as I was turning in to a Walgreen's parking lot his morning, and I hit the curb. And blew the tire - about an inch-long rip. Of course this vehicle doesn't have a spare, so I had to get a tow. To the same place where our daughter's car currently resides while waiting on a new rear axle to replace the bent one. Everyone else in the house is at Disneyworld this week. At least I have one more vehicle.

On the plus side, I had good news from my doctor this morning. Some recent lifestyle changes (eating differently) and some meds have made test scores look much better than in December.
The brace he recommended for my "tennis elbow" seems to really be working (as I said to him, "how in the hell do I have tennis elbow? I don't DO anything!!!).

We went to a matinee at the local theater yesterday. I was leaving the parking lot at a jaunty clip with the sun in my eyes when my wife let out a hoot.
I was heading right at the concrete base of a light pole I never saw.
Another exhilarating 40 degree afternoon. Heading to a nearby park for a walk after a productive morning in the shop.
