It was a dark and stormy night. It got so dark around 5:30 last night that post lights and path lights came on. Heck of a wind and we got a half inch of rain in a very short time.
The plan for today was to assist Mr. H in installing a new kitchen faucet because the old one doesn't want to swivel anymore. By "assist," I mean clearing out everything underneath, fetching, listening to him swear, and helping him get up. However, we will instead be trying to get him a dental appointment for his loose crown. Meanwhile, I finally received a music book that I ordered in April, so there is that to keep me entertained.

Good morning
68F-84F sunny
Going to need a early nap after last nights ER trip. I'm fine just tired from lack of sleep.
I'll see one client and then after lunch I'll take that nap, Riley will be pleased.

Good morning. We’ll take another stab at hiking a trail at 9000 feet. We tried a week back and hit heavy rain. Enjoy your day.

Mr. H managed to get an appointment at 8:30 AM today with a dentist who is apparently filling in for the one who is taking over our old dentist's practice. The office even texted him a while ago saying they had a cancellation and he could come in right away. However, we were having breakfast because he won't be able to eat after and he couldn't have been there quickly even though it's just a 10 minute drive. So I'm off to a late start for my walk and Mr. H will probably just skip the walk today. I will stay off the muddy trails and instead survey the storm damage in our neighborhood.

I’m still have the flu19 and I’m going to stay in my bed. I’m going to be walking around my apartment do a little bit little things some paperwork etc.
Maybe I’ll do my test soon and find that it’s negative. Woohoo
How about just a little :-)

Good luck, Bob.
I have a desk full of papers to go through and some phone calls to make.
Cooling down about 10 degrees today, which is fine by me.

Good Late Morning
Not too hot but muggy. Mostly stuck at home. The Buick has been in the shop for 8 weeks. Maybe we will get it back this week, maybe next week, maybe the week after.
I got busted last night. I was checking out at the grocery store and was checking out right after a neighbor from down the block. He approached me and asked "Are you a banjo player?" I had to admit I am. He had been perusing various music forums and saw my name. Alarming to think this information is on the internet for all to see. He is a guitarist and bassist who is considering taking up banjo. His name is Bryan if any of you want to dissuade him.

Well, my workday has been one klussterfarke after another this morning, but at least it's a perfect summer's day. Tomorrow is sposed to be brutally hot/muggy and storms are on tap for Wednesday. As long as they bring rain, fine -- we got a couple of agonizingly brief sun showers yesterday that merely teased the parched landscape.
Today's cooking lesson: Add hot sauce to eggs AFTER scrambling them, not before. Doing the latter really messes with the texture, makes them mushy no matter how long you cook them.

Interesting night. Big lighting storm came in about midnight, lasted about 45 minutes. No wind, but lightning lit up the inside of the trailer like it was daylight. And huge thunder booms. Over cast a drippy this morning. Off today to Bastendorf county park, to camp there for a few days. It’s in Coos county so hopefully I can find a bike shop there that has the part so I can fix/ride my bike.

Having another good day. My flu19 is almost done. I live a great place. but here's a little story…..I love where I live it's incredibly inexpensive and I'm so lucky Another tenant “stole” another grocery cart or moved it or put it someplace else it's so weird I had some food there and a picture frame. There was a huge yellow sign that says “I need it for Sunday and Monday please”. This is happened at least five times and I know it's one person….. she has dementia or rude or damaged? And her grandkid stole my treasure in my window……. This happens all the time with the old woman…… there isn’t I can do? ZERO!
I'm very careful anyway where I live it's so inexpensive ($400/mo without utilities) and I get free food I'm just gonna say it another time I like where I live there. Can you see that 400 inexpensive?!

Wonder where the name originated.

The arrival of August means that students will start pouring back into the University. Traffic will increase, and we will have a large shiny new freshman class that will need to learn the ropes. I'm sure it will be an adventure, as always.
I've been in the mood to do some songwriting, but I can't get anything good going.
