The tomato is in the Nightshade family. Its closet garden cousins are the potato and the eggplant. (the Brandywine tomato is said to have "potato leaves", a description applied to a few other beefsteak heirlooms). Other notable nightshade family members are peppers, tobacco, and petunias.

Via a Facebook link provided by my teacher and friend Tom Mitchell. The guitarist is Yiki Wang, the composer is Jimmy Van Huesen, and the guitar looks like it might be an early-Thirties Epiphone. The tune gets called regularly at the jazz sessions I sit in on--it's very interesting to accompany. (And no easy jokes about the title.) Lovely song and performance. Talk about tasty! There is a callipygian version Bill does on occasion called "Butt Beautiful".
