Long day yesterday and we are back to Loyola later for another test. Hopefully, today will go a bit smoother. We need to do a Costco run, too, but that may have to wait. I think I just may have another cup of coffee. Have good ones.

Yesterday was a wild day in the clinic. I'm hoping for a return to normal today, but I'm not optimistic. There are a couple of nasty viruses going around, and we have five consecutive home football weekends to stir things up.
So far, I have avoided illness myself (grateful for masks and gloves), but I suppose it is inevitable that I will catch something before long. That's the cost of doing business.
LJ, I hope all goes well.

Good corn on the cob tonight, plus some kebob-like things the wife made. Still a little wet this morning from the typhoon that went by, so instead of riding went for a drive, took the big camera along.

Next will be the plague of flies as they breed on the rotting fish. Take precautions.

We get our Moderna BA.4/BA.5 jabs today. We expect to lay low for the rest of the day. Hopefully by tomorrow we'll be back to normal. I do wonder how effective these will actually end up being for the new variant given there is no need for a second dose for that variant.

Next is already here. God knows how many flies there will be once the maggots hatch and become adults. Carrion birds have been circling but they can find nothing to land on because it's all out in the water. Circle of life drama.

Maybe a wind would help, Evan.
Good morning everyone. Our heat wave will lessen a bit today and then temperatures will drop ten degrees by Saturday. I know autumn is on the way because my wife's choir practice resumes tonight and we've been inviting family for Thanksgiving.
Enjoy your day.

Definitely September weather. But, then, that's to be expected.

Good morning.
66F-86F Turning sunny in a while.
Breakfast, shower and then down to work. I did get the 12 hole jig to work yesterday. I needs improvements, but it works.
Enchiladas last night were fabulous, pork, onion, leek and cheese. Okay I did use canned sauce but they were still good.

LJ, U hope you are OK.
Sun just coming up. Days are getting shorter. Nice view of te River this chilly morning. Had to turn on the little electric space heater to take the chill off the trailer this morning. Son as I finish my coffee I’ll tackle wordle. It kicked my butt yesterday. First time I couldn’t get it in six tries.

Wind from Evan won't help. Just attract more flies. Pretty much. My sister says it's a genetic peculiarity for our family. Anyway, the wind is blowing toward the house not away from it

She is having trouble getting back to therapeutic levels. She has to inject lovenox shots twice daily in the abdomen & the bruising is unreal. Biopsy was over a week ago so this is getting old for her. We will be ok, though.

I took a shower this morning and sat down at my PC, yes in my robe, then fell asleep. That is all I've done today. Calling about the MRI I forgot to arrange a few weeks ago, asap.
