Late post today, but this is one of those feel-good kinds of things. Check out the Great Grandson in this picture. Now, this smile is really kind of his normal thing, but today is a bit more special as it was taken post-surgery to correct his loss of hearing. My granddaughter thought that he could at least hear from one ear, but the test showed that not to be the case. The surgeons caught it and were able to correct the issue. Lux will now hear great grandpa when he plays a song for him, and for that words cannot express my gratitude to the medical team taking care of our little charmer! That's a great story! Does he live around here? Our son and his family live in the greater Milwaukee area. It is great that they are all close to each other and are very present in each other lives but it does make a bit harder for us to see them as much as we would like.
