I used to see Paul K and his wife there every year. One year Marty, Paul, Bill, and Marshall all showed up there. I got the email today. After 53 years they're discontinuing the show. It was for most artist/craftsmen the best selling day for art/craft in the country. One year I made over $13,000 in five hours of sales. The show was a phenomenon. The crowd would start lining up by 5-6 in the morning for a 10 AM opening. The University bell would ring in the 10 o'clock hour and the patrons would literally run to their favorite artists to get first choice.
I doubt there will be anything like it ever again.

Sounds like a terrible loss, for many reasons.
